Position Summary:
The London NYC Hotel is seeking a Sales Manager to join its successful Sales Team! The Sales Manager is responsible for effectively soliciting new viable accounts as well as penetrating and growing market share in his/her market segments which include Group and Corporate (Total Account Management) in the Legal, Consulting, Accounting, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Luxury Leisure Agency markets. He/she is also responsible for strategic prospecting and closing on to positively impact hotel revenues for the property. The ideal candidate must be dynamic, self-motivated, team player, assertive and goal oriented. He/She must possess exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills. Must be strong, persuasive and posses entrepreneurial strengths.
A minimum of 3 years of hospitality sales experience with luxury hotel experience preferred; Experience in the Legal, Consulting, Accounting, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Luxury Leisure Agency markets Familiar with working in Delphi Skilled at developing and executing targeted sales accounts Must possess strong selling skills Must possess strong Team Leadership Skills Exceptional organizational and project management skills Experience working with the tools of the trade, including lead generation/internet sourcing tools. Must be very PC and web savvy Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Travel required Passionate people who enjoy the thrill of the hunt and thrive in a results-oriented environment are encouraged to apply.
